Party A _______________________, on behalf of the president of the Shanxi Normal University, wishes to engage the services of the Party B, Mr./Ms./Mrs. __________________________, as a language teacher in our School of Foreign Languages, from _________________________________________ to _______________________________

Both parties, in friendly cooperation, agree on the following points:

Party B’s duties include giving classes to the Chinese students and teachers, providing extra-curricular tutoring, being in charge of practical lessons and graduation theses, directing research student, and writing and editing teaching and reference material. Language teachers are often asked to give talks on cultural and historical aspects of their own countries, and science teachers may be require to assist in the setting up of laboratories, in addition to teaching.

The total teaching hours per week are:

Part B’s salary will be ____________ Yuan per month, and ____% of the party B’s salary can be converted to foreign currencies.

Party B’s international air ticket will be borne by the part B herself/himself. (Or Party A will pay Party B either a single or a return ticket, based on Party B’s educational background and experience.)

Part B’s living conditions at the University

Party B will have an apartment, free of charge, including a living room, bedroom, (two bedrooms) a bathroom, and kitchen. It is furnished with a desk, sofa, bookshelf, a TV set, a refrigerator, a microwave, water heater, computer (which can be connected to the Internet at your own expenses), etc.. Cooking utensils are provided, if the Party B wants to cook for himself/herself. An effort will be made to supply any additional items upon request.
