At present, there in excess of 100 teachers in the school, of whom three are professors and sixteen are associate professors. Teachers with a higher degree, and teachers who have been abroad amount to about half of the total.

Every year, the school invites 10 foreign teachers to teach at the school. The school was divided into three departments; English, Japanese and college English departments.

There are two master level disciplines, curriculum and theory of teaching, and English education.

The school is equipped with 11 language laboratories and one computer laboratory, electronic library, and a foreign language broadcasting station.

During the past five years, the professors have made great achievements, over twenty projects have been received national and provincial awards. Fifteen books, 200 articles and thesis have been published.

For the benefit of the students, there also is an English Corner and the English Promotion Society for encouraging English usage.
